The layer shows all property parcel types, with display scale limiting the size of parcels returned.

The Queensland Government broadhectare (residential land supply) study quantifies the amount of land, which is predominantly greenfield (undeveloped), available for future residential development. A number of constraints (characteristics) are analyzed against parcels of land to identify those that are physically suitable, potentially available under planning scheme provisions and in the case of urban residential development, intended to be serviced with reticulated water and sewerage. By comparing dwelling projections against the residential land supply, an estimate of supply can be calculated and any potential shortages identified.The land identified in the broadhectare study is the first stage in the land development pipeline. It includes parcels of land identified as suitable and potentially available for future residential development. The study focuses on land parcels greater than 0.25 ha. The identified residential land is categorised according to development potential as for either urban or rural residential use. The timing for land development is based on local government infrastructure extension programs, recent lot approvals and the development intentions of major developers. Timing is divided into the following five categories:0–2 years2+–5 years5+–10 years10+ yearsnot specified.The category ‘not specified’ also includes smaller parcels in existing developed areas where development occurs randomly (depending on the owners’ intentions).The spatial analysis process utilised in the broadhectare study involves creating segments based on the Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) over each local government area. Each segment is then updated with data that impact on the suitability and availability for residential development. Using rule-based filtering, broadhectare land stocks are identified.
The GLM Land Types of Queensland is the spatial representation of Queensland grazing land management (GLM) land types as described by the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF). The spatial representation of GLM land types has been produced by the DAF and the Department of Environment and Science by associating Queensland Grazing Land Management land type's (version 4) textual data with Pre-clearing Vegetation Communities and Regional Ecosystems of Queensland (version 10) spatial data. This has produced land type mapping at a map scale of 1:100,000 and 1:50,000 in part. The map scale of 1:50,000 applies to part of South-eastern Queensland and map amendments areas. GLM land types are described in terms of their landform; woody vegetation; expected pasture composition (including suitable sown pastures and introduced weeds); and soil characteristics. Limitations to use of the land and grazing management recommendations are also provided. More than 230 land types from 19 grazing land management regions in Queensland have been described. Development and compilation of the names and descriptions of the 'land types of Queensland' was undertaken by DAF grazing land management team.Sub IBRA Bioregions as well as Agro-climatic zones from Hutchinson et al. have also been incorporated to better identify GLM land types. Version 7completed in March2022has updated the following GLM regions: Mitchell grass downs, Mulga, Southern Gulf, Burdekin, Desert Uplands, Inland Burnett, Coastal Burnett, Maranoa Balonne, Border Rivers, Darling Downs, Mackay Whitsunday, Wet Tropics and Northern Gulf.

The local government divisions layer is the spatial representation of the recommendation of the Local Government Change Commission during the 2023 review of divided Local Government Areas. Divisional boundaries were realigned to ensure, as best as possible, that each division contains \"a reasonable proportion of electors\" (the quota) at the 2024 quadrennial local government elections. Final divisional boundaries were created with input from the general public obtained through public submissions during public consultation of the review.
Final divisional boundaries were created by aggregating Statistical Area Level 1 (SA1) polygons while satisfying the requirement for divisions to have \"a reasonable proportion of electors\" now, and at the 2024 elections, and taking into consideration features such as transport infrastructure, natural features, and cadastral and suburb boundaries. Final divisional boundaries were aligned to significant, named features where possible. Where practicable, the Change Commission sought to reunite previously split localities and SA1s, to create administrative and operational efficiencies in electoral roll administration.
Final divisions were populated with current and projected elector counts (on 9 March 2023 and 31 March 2028 respectively), as well as percent elector deviation from the average elector count at each date. Revised divisional boundaries will come into effect upon the conclusion of the March 2024 local government elections.
Current and projected elector data was obtained from the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) and the Queensland Government Statisticians Office (QGSO) respectively.
The following divided councils were reviewed in 2023 and had changes implemented to their divisional boundaries: Bundaberg Regional Council, Fraser Coast Regional Council and Isaac Regional Council. Tablelands Regional Council was reviewed but there was no change to the existing divisional boundaries. For Tablelands Regional Council and other divided Councils that were not reviewed in 2023, alignment variations may exist between the 2020 and 2024 boundaries due to accuracy upgrades to the spatial cadastre, to which the divisional boundaries are aligned.
